Project Playtime: Ballard adventure boot camps
Matt Parks brings us a brand new session unlike anything you've tried before. Every week
takes you to a new, exciting adventure in the Seattle area, themed around a different
destination and a fun, old-school idea. Read on for a preview for each of the eight,
1 hour and 15 minute class!
Discovery Park — Primal Instincts
Week 1: August 3rd and 5th
Meet in Discovery Park east parking lot, adjacent to the Visitor Center
Let's get back to basics everybody. I mean THE basics. Think of running through the woods
and fields as fast as you can. This week will start with some fun walk/jog/sprint sessions
deep in the woods of the park. We'll keep it rolling with some sandy hill sprints and a slow
paced jog back to the beginning of the loop.
Magnolia Community Park — The World Is Your Playground
Week 2: August 10th and 12th
Meet in front of the Magnolia Park Community Center
Can't remember the last time you were on a jungle gym? It's time to fix that. This week
is all about the best things when you're 4; running around in the grass, jumping over stuff,
and playing with your friends. We're doing lots of teamwork so I hope you're all ready to play!!
Golden Gardens — Baywatch: Ballard
Week 3: August 17th and 19th
Put on your swimsuits and get a tan on those sexy bodies during these beach boot camps!!
Running through the sand barefoot, net-less volleyball, and a stairclimb party that'll rock off
your flip-flops.
Mystery Location — Operation: Urban Hiking
Week 4: August 24th
Pretty simple this week, it's a training drill. We're picking a ginormous ass hill in Seattle,
loading up our packs, and hiking. Super fun bootcamp drills at the 'summit' and, depending on
which hill we climb, there may be a mandatory coffee break at the top...... But you ask,
'What are we training for?' and I say we're going to...
Conquer Si
Week 4: August 26th
We're picking a weekend to head up to Little Si and conquer nature with nothing but the shoes on
our feet and the packs on our backs. Remember to bring your yoga mat because there will be a
session at the top with a special guest instructor.

Pricing
· The 10-hour Package: $90. Get all 8 classes for less than a hundred bucks!
· The Recess Package: $60. Can't play every day? No problem! Choose any 5
classes and get a quick fix.
· Drop-in: $15.
